Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

All workshop bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

Payment instructions are provided after registration. A booking is not considered secured until payment has been completed.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations.

2. Pricing

All prices are stated in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes under Portuguese law, where relevant.

Prices may be updated at any time; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent changes.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to the event date are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.
• Participants may transfer their booking to another person at no additional cost by notifying the organizer in advance.
• In exceptional and unforeseeable circumstances, the organizer may, at her discretion, allow a transfer to a future workshop date, subject to availability.

4. Organizer Cancellation

Workshops require a minimum number of participants.

If the minimum is not reached or if circumstances beyond reasonable control require cancellation (including but not limited to venue issues, illness, or force majeure), participants will be offered either:

• A full refund, or
• The option to reschedule to a future date.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Distance Selling Rule)

In accordance with Portuguese consumer law, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

However, pursuant to Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period of performance.

As workshops are scheduled events held on specific dates, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply.

6. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers:

• Are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase
• Are non-refundable
• May be transferred to another person
• Must be used before their expiration date

Unused vouchers after the expiration date will not be refunded.

7. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

• Providing accurate personal information
• Informing the organizer of allergies or dietary restrictions
• Arriving on time for the event

The organizer is not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during the workshop.

Participants attend workshops at their own responsibility.

8. Health & Safety

While reasonable care is taken to ensure a safe environment, participation involves handling kitchen tools and food preparation equipment.

By attending, participants acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

9. Intellectual Property

All workshop materials, recipes, content, branding, and event formats remain the intellectual property of Hannah’s Happy Belly.

They may not be reproduced, recorded for commercial purposes, or redistributed without prior written consent.

10. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.

In case of dispute, consumers may resort to the competent Alternative Dispute Resolution entity, as stated in the Legal Information section of this website.
